Adauto Carvalho

Graduate Architect and Urban Designer

Adauto is from the city of Jataí, in the interior of Goiás, he graduated as an architect and urban planner at the University of Brasília (UnB) in 2015. Although he began his studies in Mato Grosso, he always wanted to go further.

Nowadays he lives in Sydney, Australia and works in a very nice architecture office. The creation of the Immigrant Architect project was based on his great dream of using his journey to inspire others to change what they believe to be possible.

Ines is an Interior designer with over 6 years of industry experience, she has graduated at the Design Centre Enmore in 2014 and was nominated for the GOTYA (Graduate of the Year Awards).
Ines enjoys an exciting career within the design industry, obtaining work experience in a range of design fields from workplace design to hospitality. She currently works for a leading architecture firm which specialises in hospitality, working on a multi-million-dollar Club & Hotel redevelopment

Graduate Architect and Urban Designer

Nanci is from the city of São Paulo, started her studies in Building Design, then studied Architecture and after Masters in Structural Engineering at USP. She came to Australia in 2014 to learn English, now lives in Brisbane and has no plans to return. 

Since she arrived in Australia she has worked in different roles from a Architectural Revit Draftsperson, a CAD Operator in a Gas Plant site in Darwin to a Structural Draftsperson. Currently she is a Senior Structural Draftsperson in a multi-disciplinary Engineering firm in Brisbane. Her main day to day responsibilities include modelling Building Structures in Revit, coordinating Architectural, Civil, Services and Structural 3D models, delivering final Structural documentation and mentoring offshore drafters. She works with a variety of Buildings such as Schools, Multi-Storey Residential Complex, Aged Care Facilities, Hospitals, Hotels and more.

Rodrigo is an architect who currently works as an architect at Steffen Welsch architects, an office focused on sustainable residential architecture. He worked as a mortar specialist at Olnee Constructions for 4 years and as an architect at Earth House Australia a company created to design and build sustainable buildings using mortar as the main material of construction. 

With a focus on construction materials such as wood, bamboo, and raw earth and with practical experience in various types of construction, he has always sought to better understand how a construction site acts as a learning place for many professionals, this whole process was important to dialogue with engineers and masters and improve the design capacity to create more effective projects and improve the performance of buildings.​
